Our tour guide, Taz, was absolutely fantastic! The tour included so much more, TAZ! He is a wealth of interesting knowledge of this beautiful island. You can tell he truly wants each of the passengers to have their best day ever. The ruins were pure magical and breathtaking! Hacienda Antigua, lol interesting and fun! Ended our day with a delicious lunch and a little laziness on the beach. We visited San Gervasio Mayan Ruins, the eastern beaches, sampled tequila, spotted a crocodile and a blow hole and had some amazing mojitos. The terrain at the ruins and at the waters edge of some of the beaches required careful footing as the ground was not level. Fun experiences for those with agility. Highly recommend a day with Taz. He kept us entertained with history and other Cozumel fun facts as we drove across the island.Verified Best tour man ever❤️ Taz was what I expected and so much more. Thank you all for your reviews. My friend was afraid to go off resort. I researched and kept coming up with Taz Miranda as the best. I brought my MIL out for a birthday celebration and as soon as he picked us up she was greeted with signs in the cab windows with her name playing Happy Birthday on the radio. Biggest kindest smile. He made her day special bought a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday at the restaurant on the beach. We even had a family from France join us! We had so much fun. All Smiles and laughs! He started us out with tequila tasting and onto a tour of Mayan culture to learn the history of the island. We then went to Miami (Best Mojitos) worth the trip. A family ran business with fresh ingredients. He is a family man and very respectful. We could go on but, anyone wanting to take a tour of the island and feel like you are with family. Taz Miranda has become a friend over the past couple of years. We use him for airport transportation as well as an island tour guide for family and friends while on the island. We toured with Taz Miranda for our 35th wedding anniversary, and had such a nice day. We visited Wet Wendy's, did a tequila tasting, and was educated with the process of making it. He picked us up on time in a brand new car with AC. He made sure we could do all the the activities we wanted and made our reservations on time. We will definitely call Taz next time we are visiting Cozumel.Verified Cozumel Mayan history and culture Taz was great. We went to four locations. The chocolate factory was a very interesting and educational visit. We had about 20 samples of different kinds. The Mayan experience was also good. The people were very informative and fun. Done of it was participation.The Taquila tasting was not great. A strong sales pitch to buy a very expensive bottle. The last visit was to a restaurant / bar on the east side of the island. It was very nice sitting in a covered patio where there was a pleasant breeze next to the ocean. We invited Taz and enjoyed a nice conversation with him.Verified Island round trip We elected a private tour, since we knew where we wanted to go. We were two couples, friends, all of us had been to Cozumel many times. Our driver was Carlos Chan Ku. He was very friendly, and gave us a lot of interesting information about the history of the island and many facts about the island. His English was very good, and he took us to all of the places we wished to visit, Palancar, the Rasta bar near the Punta Sur, the beach at San Martin, Mezcalitos, and Senor Iguanas.
